We always aim to send exactly what you ordered, but on the rare occasion we experience an inventory shortage, we may need to make a substitution to ensure your box arrives complete and on time.
When do replacements happen?
Replacements only happen when one of the meals you selected is no longer available due to an unexpected inventory issue. This could be because of limited ingredients, supplier delays, or a last-minute change in production.
How do you choose a replacement?
If a replacement is needed, our team takes great care in selecting a meal that fits your preferences. We look at your past orders and dietary profile to pick the next best option. Ideally, it’s something you’ve enjoyed before or that matches your taste.
What if an ingredient is swapped?
If just one ingredient becomes unavailable (for example, a side of asparagus swapped for green beans), the chef may slightly adjust the recipe. These changes are rare, and we’ll always let you know in advance if they occur.
Will I be notified?
Yes. Anytime we make a change, whether it’s a full meal replacement or a small ingredient swap, you’ll receive a notification ahead of your delivery. We always want you to know what’s coming so there are no surprises at the table.
