If you receive your CookUnity deliveries in an insulated tote bag, you're part of our Returnable Packaging Program. Returned bags are professionally cleaned, sanitized, and reused — keeping them out of landfills. As of February 2026, the program has diverted over 3.1 million bags from the waste stream.
How do I return my bag?
Simply leave your bag — empty and unfolded — at your front door, doorstep, or front desk on your next delivery day. Your driver will collect it when they drop off your new order.
You don't need to do anything special to schedule a pickup — it happens automatically on every delivery.
Does the driver pick up my bag every week?
Yes — your driver will collect your previous bag each time they deliver a new one. Just make sure it's accessible and visible at your drop-off location before they arrive.
Where exactly should I leave the bag?
Leave it in the same place your deliveries are dropped off — your front door, doorstep, or building front desk. If you have specific access instructions or a doorman, note that in your delivery instructions so the driver knows where to look.
I have several bags piling up — can I return them all at once?
Yes. Leave all bags in the same spot and the driver will collect them together. If you have a large stack, you can reach out to our Customer Experience team and we will be happy to help you.
