If your order was charged more than you expected, or a discount you were counting on didn't show up, here are the most common reasons and what to do about each.
The promo was received or added after you already confirmed your order
Promotions apply to the next order you confirm after the promo is added — not to orders already placed.
If your cutoff hasn't passed yet, you can still get the discount:
- Go to your Orders Hub
- Navigate Your Next Delivery or Upcoming Orders
- Edit the selection (if that option is available), meaning the order hasn't been charge
- Re-select your meals
- Confirm and verify the Summary upon check out
- Place your order.
If your cutoff has already passed, the discount will apply to your following scheduled order instead. This may be the following week or a later week if you’ve already skipped upcoming deliveries.
Your welcome or signup discount has ended
If you signed up with a promotional offer (such as 50% off your first orders or a discount for your first X weeks), these offers have a limited number of uses or a set expiration date.
Once the promotional period ends, your account automatically reverts to standard pricing.
To check if a promotion is still active, go to
- Account Settings
- Wallet → Credits & Promotions
- Review the Promotions tab.
- You can see the Offer, Status and Expiration Date
Your promo code has expired
Promo codes have expiration dates. If yours expired before you confirmed the order, the discount won't be applied.
Check the expiration date in your Promotions tab. If the code recently expired and you believe it should still apply, contact our Customer Experience team.
The charge is higher than your plan price — taxes and fees
Your plan price (e.g., $101) reflects the cost of your meals before taxes and applicable fees. Your total charge will include:
- Your meal subtotal
- Sales tax based on your delivery address
- Any applicable service fees
This is why your total may be higher than the plan price shown on your account.
Review my invoices
- Go to Order hub, located on the left hand side of your menu bar
- Navigate Past Orders
- Select the Delivery Date you are looking for
- Click on the receipt icon
- Your invoice will display on the right hand side with a breakdown of your charge
The promotion didn't apply and you're not sure why
If you verified that the promotion should still be active and it didn't apply to your order, we want to look into it. Contact our Customer Experience team and include:
- The promotion or offer you expected to apply (e.g., "50% off first 4 weeks," "welcome discount")
- The order date and total amount charged
- What you expected to be charged
- A screenshot of the charge or confirmation email, if available
