What is the GovX discount?

CookUnity partners with GovX to offer exclusive discounted meal plans to eligible members of the military, veterans, reservists, teachers, academic staff, and first responders (including healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, and EMTs).

If you qualify, you can enjoy chef-crafted meals at $9.99 per meal for 17 weeks, with delivery plans available in 6, 8, 12, or 16 meals per week.

Who is eligible?

The GovX discount is available to:

• Active-duty military members and veterans
• Military reservists
• Teachers and academic staff
• First responders: healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, and EMTs

How to get the discount

The discount is applied automatically once you complete GovX identity verification during sign-up. Here's how:

1. Visit cookunity.com/lp/govxverification
2. Complete the GovX identity verification (you'll be prompted via a pop-up)
3. Finish setting up your CookUnity account and select your meal plan
4. Your discounted plan will be applied automatically — no promo code needed

Already have a CookUnity account? If you completed GovX verification after signing up, the discount is not applied automatically to existing accounts. Please contact our support team and we'll be happy to help apply it for you.

Program details

• Price: $9.99 per meal
• Duration: 17 weeks from activation
• Plan options: 6, 8, 12, or 16 meals per week (the 4-meal plan is not available for GovX subscribers)
• Availability: Nationwide
• Menu: GovX subscribers have access to a curated (reduced) menu that is regularly updated with fresh options

Important things to know

• The GovX discount cannot be combined with other promotions.

  It is not stackable with first-order discounts, or other welcome offers. If you used a different promotion when signing up, you will need to choose which benefit to use. However, you can participate in our Referral program

• Skipping or pausing your subscription counts against your 17 weeks. 

  Each week you skip or pause reduces the remaining time on your promotional plan.

• The discount is not renewable. 

  Once your 17-week promotional period ends, your account will automatically move to a standard CookUnity plan.

• You can change your meal plan size 

  (e.g., from 8 meals to 16 meals per week) and still keep your GovX pricing, as long as your promotional period is still active.
